On November 23, the "Germany Leads the Way, Intelligence at Chang'an" themed event was successfully held at the Chang'an Club in Beijing. This event was co-hosted by Chang'an Club, the German National Tourist Board, the Berlin Business Desk China, and the NRW.Global Business GmbH. As an important part of the series of activities for Germany in the 2024 Chang'an International Cultural Year, the event explored in depth the potential of Germany’s investment environment and explained in detail the industrial advantages of each region.
The event invited Ms. Li Zhaohui, Chief Representative of the German National Tourist Board Office Beijing; Ms. Li Yiran, Chief Representative of the Berlin Business Desk China; Mr. Feng Xingliang, Chief Representative of the the NRW.Global Business GmbH Office Beijing; and Mr. Wei Qiang, Legal Representative of Luca (Beijing) Stem Cell Technology Co., Ltd., who shared their insights on Germany’s investment environment and industrial advantages.
Ms. Li Yiran, Chief Representative of Berlin, vividly demonstrated Berlin, a city in constant change and never fixed in form. She pointed out that Berlin is Germany's entrepreneurial and innovative highland, an important gathering place for AI startups, with more than 40% of Germany's relevant companies headquartered there. Berlin not only attracts many innovative decision makers, but also shows a strong trend of being the leader of the German digital economy.
The event also prepared tea breaks with German characteristics, providing classic food such as Berlin currywurst, lye bread, Black Forest cake, etc., which enabled the attending members and guests to appreciate the unique charm of Germany's high-quality lifestyle.
