Connecting experts, driving innovation.
Berlin offers multiple ways to connect with China. Whether for Startup cooperation partnerships, through industry and cluster support, or through special networks built to promote economic exchange.
As an initiative of the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, network projects aim to promote long-term relationships between key industrial multipliers and businesses with Chinese partners.
Welcome to get to know our cooperations and connect with Berlin's China business community.
AsiaBerlin, powered by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, forms a collaborative platform that brings together communities within startup ecosystems across Asia and Berlin. AsiaBerlin enables relationship-building among investors, startups, and bridge builders by organising monthly AsiaBerlin events and delegation trips to Berlin and Asia throughout the year.

THE „BERLIN AMBASSADORS CHINA“ PROJECT
The “Berlin Ambassadors China” project is an initiative of the Berlin Business Desk China that started at the end of 2021. Berlin Ambassadors are people from Berlin or representatives of companies from Berlin in China’s most important economic regions and cities. For a two-year period, the Berlin Ambassadors work on a voluntary basis to strengthen the network and Berlin's image in China. Since the initiative began, influential personalities have been designated as Berlin Ambassadors in five core regions:
Tilman Lesche (North China/Beijing)
Damian Maib (East China/ Yangtse-Delta)
Choco Heng Zhang + Alexander Glaser (West China/ Chengdu-Chongqing)
Thomas Vogel (Greater Bay Area)
All our ambassadors will support us on site in promoting Berlin as an interesting business location and provide important contacts in their respective regions. The "Berlin Ambassadors China" project is an ongoing campaign. If you are economically active in China and have a strong connection to Berlin, please contact the Berlin in China team (firstname.lastname@example.org). We look forward to many initiatives and joint projects.
