The Berlin Business Desk China had the honor of participating in the HICOOL 2024 Global Entrepreneur Summit on August 24th and 25th. Our booth in the International Innovation Exhibition Area provided us a good opportunity to engage with numerous startups and visitors, showcasing Berlin's dynamic startup environment and the latest economic developments in key industries.
As the Chief Representative of Berlin in China, Ms. Li Yiran delivered a speech entitled "Berlin – The Startup Capital of Germany" at the HICOOL Go Global Forum. Ms. Li highlighted Berlin's mature startup ecosystem, thriving R&D landscape, and rich talent pool, underscoring the city's appeal as a hub for innovation in Europe.
During her speech, Ms. Li also introduced the upcoming Asiaberlin Summit 2024, a government-supported event aimed at fostering connections between Berlin and Asian startup ecosystems. Chinese entrepreneurs were invited to join the event in Berlin for valuable networking opportunities.
The HICOOL Global Entrepreneur Summit has been a pivotal platform for entrepreneurial innovation since its inception in 2020, attracting talents and projects from around the world. This year's theme, "New Quality Productive Forces Driving Collaborative Innovation," emphasized the importance of technological innovation, industrial integration, and international cooperation in the entrepreneurial landscape.
