On August 22, 2022, Dr. Patricia Flor, the new German Ambassador to China, visited Berlin Business Desk China (BBDC). Mr. Ole Grogro, Deputy Head of the Economic Department of the German Embassy, and Mr. Jochen Tenhagen, General Manager of the German Center Beijing, accompanied the visit.
Li, Yiran, Chief Representative at Berlin Business Desk China, extended a warm welcome and introduced the BBDC office and the main work fields to the Ambassador and her delegation. Ms. Li also highlighted the status Quo of the economic cooperation between Berlin and China and the outstanding development of Berlins start-up sector.
The ambassador showed great interest in various products from Berlin which were displayed in the BBDC office and expressed her support for the work of BBDC and her wish for further economic exchanges between China and Berlin in future.
After the introduction of the office, Dr. Flor had a look at the posters hanging in the corridor next to the BBDC office, which are from the current BERLINWITHIN Industry Campaign. They are presenting solutions and products created in Berlin that help, heal, communicate, cohere, improve and enable all over the world.
We sincerely appreciate the visit of Dr. Flor and the delegation from the German Embassy. We are convinced that, through close interaction with the German Embassy, we will reach more achievements for the economic cooperation between Berlin and China.
