It has been a great pleasure and honor to be part of the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) between November 5-10. The Berlin Business Desk China 柏林驻华商务联络处 (BBDC) booth was prominently placed in the German Pavilion of the German Chamber.
The CIIE has been an excellent platform for networking with high-level government and business executives. We have been very glad to meet authorities from the Shanghai municipal commission of commerce and political delegations from all over China. We also had many contacts with companies from #China and we will support them with first-hand information and market resources from #Berlin to facilitate their market expansion in Germany and Europe and to bring them together with cooperation partners in Berlin.
On November 7, we hosted our Berlin onsite promotion event in the German Pavilion Lounge. We presented the unique startup and innovation landscape of Berlin and were accompanied by four outstanding startup companies from Berlin. Two of these companies are already well established in China (The Drivery and Genuine), whereas Löwenzahn Organics GmbH and LÆMON have built up a strong economic base in Europe and are now ready to explore new markets. We really appreciate your contributions to the activities of Berlin on the CIIE 2022 (Damian Maib, Scofield Liang, Susana Gomez, liz sauer williamson). BBDC will always be your partner in China.
We are very happy that we successfully concluded our performance at the CIIE 2022, one of the worldwide largest trade fairs, and want to express our thanks again for the wonderful organization to the German Chamber of Commerce in China | Shanghai and the CIIE organizing committee. We already look forward to our next big endeavors in China, such as the Hainan Expo in the Spring of 2023 and other interesting business events. We will keep you up-to-date and invite all startups and enterprises from Berlin to join our future activities.
